Roger has re-released his first self-produced album, Roger Sprung and His Progressive Bluegrassers, in CD format.

This landmark recording, originally released in 1966, features 16 groundbreaking instrumental cuts ranging from mountain standards to Jewish folk melodies. The band includes an all-star cast: Jon Sholle, guitar; Jody Stecher, mandolin; Gene Lowenger, fiddle; Larry Dunn, guitar; Austin Gelzer & Mike Miller, bass; Jackie Pack, dumbek; and Richie Barrons, drums.

These recordings reveal Roger's progressive vision with arrangements that sound as fresh today as they were 45 years ago. Contact us to order your CD.
